Will a ban on "woke fonts" stop Americans from posting about woke things?
Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that it was time to "think outside the margins, but not outside the borders," while discussing his decision to ban Calibri fonts in government. "When it comes to fonts, the U.S. needs to project strength. That is why I am banning woke fonts like Calibri and making ALL CAPS TIMES NEW ROMAN the official standard," he said.
One staffer, speaking on the condition of anonymity, expressed concern about the ban. "Many of the documents in the Epstein files are formatted in Calibri," she said. "This could complicate the release of the files because, in order to comply with the official government standard, the Department of Justice will now have to redact any text not written in ALL CAPS TIMES NEW ROMAN."
